The Local Gatherings

We believe that the local gathering is the most important part of our lives as Christians. It is the local gathering each week where all the gifts that God has given the church are gathered for the magnifying of Jesus and thus the building up of the church.

Kempsey meets Sunday 9.30am at 54 Rudder St, Kempsey
South West Rocks meets Saturday 5.00pm, 110 Gregory St SWRocks (rented dining room)

In the gathering we are built up through the following:

1. Gospel Centred preaching
2. Communal Prayers to the Father
3. Song and hymns to focus on the gospel and prayers to our God
4. Social interaction post service – using our gifts to edify others

We believe that “Church” is to be “accessible” to all people of all ages, as well as all educational and social backgrounds

We believe that the trained and gifted members of the local church members are those who participate in the formal service.

Growth Groups

We encourage ever member participation within Growth Groups. Growth groups are gatherings that happen throughout the week where members can share their lives and the gospel together within the frame work of personal relationship.
